The ongoing and broadening popularity of Cloud IT continues to provide an evolving market opportunity for technologies and services that assist in selection of Cloud offerings and assist in Cloud adoption and use. In early 2011 Saugatuck grouped the then current technologies and services into categories of “Cloud Enablement Offerings” focused on the stages of the Cloud Management Lifecycle within an enterprise. This Strategic Perspective updates our framework by defining a new enablement category and describing how one stage in our original Cloud Management Lifecycle has evolved.
