SharePoint’s continued dominance in the enterprise was a key takeaway from last week’s Enterprise 2.0 Conference. On the top of mind for the conference attendees, focused on delivering or extracting value from Social and Collaboration tools within their own companies, was Microsoft’s plan to acquire Yammer to bolster their lagging social competency. By talking to several Microsoft partners, competitors, and end-users, Saugatuck was able to get a clearer picture of the impact this would have on the Social and Collaboration software marketplace, as well as customers of SharePoint.
